Past Projects

In addition to the Farley Arts Trust Awards & Exhibition and the Wonderfully Surreal competition, the Trust organises educational projects in collaboration with schools, colleges and other special interest groups. These have included workshops, talks and visits to Farleys House and/or the temporary exhibitions in the galleries and garden.

Past Touring Exhibitions

For ten years the Farley Arts Trust toured the exhibitions shown below to schools, colleges, universities, galleries, museums and arts and community centres in East Sussex and beyond. Copies of the A5, 37-page catalogues illustrating the 28 black and white photographs with explanatory captions under each photograph can be purchased from the Trust by requesting further information from enquiries@farleyartstrust.co.uk

EMERGING YOUNG ARTISTS EXHIBITION 2021

Since 2006 the Trust has organised the Farley Arts Trust Awards & Exhibition celebrating the outstanding creativity of East Sussex students studying visual arts. Due to the cancellation of our usual programming during the Covid pandemic we switched our focus and invited earlier participants to apply for bursaries designed to further their art careers.

We found many recipients of the bursaries were continuing to make art works during the pandemic and we organised the exhibition, Emerging Young Artists, to show new work by these artists at Gallery North in Hailsham in 2021. The following images show a work by each of the participants in that exhibition.

Please email enquiries@farleyartstrust.co.uk if you would like to propose an educational project working with the Trust.
